Mimi has a friend.
Robbie and Mimi have been friends since they were three.
They now have a very intricate structure of play.

Robbie is Eric, Mimi is Jessica, Eric is an actor in a movie called"Tron"
Jessica is a swimsuit model.

They are on a very expensive cruise.
Terry is the bell boy, Uncle Randy is the janitor, I am the maid.

Mimi's school had a special event called" An Evening With Van Gogh"

It was a whole evening devoted to the artist, including a "stunt" Van Gogh signing autographs.

There was cookie decorating, movies, a family photo taken in front of a masterpiece and a version of the cakewalk where children would walk in a circle stepping on Van Gogh's famous works.

Mimi already knew that Van Gogh was a famous painter, and her Uncle Steve told her that he cut off his ear and sent it to his girlfriend in an envelope.
Mimi found this very interesting indeed.

You're My Best Friend

These two have been through thick and thin.
Poor Baby Zelda has been rolled on, dressed up,pushed on a swing and held captive in a homemade fort.

But when push come to shove , and a friend is running a fever, she is always there to snuggle.

Dad passed away 2 years ago, tonight.

Barack Obama was inaugurated, and we were thrilled. Dad and Mom were here all day watching the festivities.


My sister Mary, recently brought to my attention that Dad and Audrey Hepburn(a person, I admire greatly) had passed away on the same date.

I have thought about it a lot over these past few days.
Audrey Hepburn fell ill with colon cancer and was in Cedar Sinai Hospital.

I have only written one letter to a famous person in my life and it was to her,in her last days.
I think that Audrey embodied so many qualities that my dad had, elegance, charm, humility.
My dad and mom were huge Audrey Hepburn fans.

My dad passed away while watching Barack and Michelle dance their first dance as President and First Lady.


It was truly a great day for dad.

I Love Bugs

About five months ago, some friends and I set about on a journey with a mom, a dad, and triplets, that suffer from Autism.Our job is to bring them a better life.

I have always loved Yo Gabba Gabba. One of our little guys is completely mesmerized by Yo.

I burned a teensy disk of 12 songs we have listened to and bounced up and down to for the last 2 months.
I am thrilled that there is a new set of songs, including my fave " I Love Bugs".
Also, in the vain of Spandeau Ballet, "I'm So Sorry".

And MGMT, doing whatever they do.

Our kid Chitch, loves it all.
