I had a plan of decorating Easter eggs with fruit and vegetable dyes.
You boil berries and beets, onion skins and tea with the eggs.
The results are beautiful muted colors with a marble like quality.
Friday afternoon, I decided the hours of boiling were not going to take place so I set my group outside to get our eggs colored.
We had Jiej, Mimi, Uncle Randy and Daddy coloring away.In a matter of 30 minutes they had 36 eggs finished.
Next year, Mimi's party will be a farther distance away from Easter and we will be able to savor these traditions a little more.
